Spiral Knights Performance Improvement

As many of our members are experiencing massive latency during playing, the following post will exemplify a possible solution for the problem.
If you have downloaded Java with a 32-bit-Browser you will also gain a 32-bit Java version, although you are using a 64-bit Windows version. The 64-bit Java version has a higher performance and can solve some of the latency not caused by a bad internet connection.

1. Requirement

The solution will work only if you are using a 64-bit Windows version.

2. Am I using a 64-bit browser?

In order to find out if you are using a 64-bit version of your browser use the following steps that are explained here (for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome).

3. Downloading 64-bit Java

Now open your browser and download the 64-bit Java version.
You can download it here.

4. Final adjustments

Now start Spiral Knights and check if the 64-bit Java version is used.

Veteran Room 

As the guild is growing every day, we need to think about our future Veterans.
Thanks to some donations of our guild members we were finally able to finish the long planned Veteran Room. The room is going to be used for guild discussions on different guild issues.
Our members are allowed to use this room, as long as there is no announcement of a meeting.

There is also a new project planned, as one of our members suggested to created a space in the guild hall, where it is possible to relax. For now this space is contemplated on the long end of the third floor.

The Harvest Returns!

The mysterious Apocrean Harvester returns to Cradle to trap and harvest souls! Band together with other knights to free these trapped souls. Be careful! The mysterious Harvester will pursue any who enter the Grasping Plateau to add to the collection.

Collect Apocrean Sigil tokens and visit the Obelisk of Creation to craft Obsidian Weapons and the Grasping Aura.

Visit the Supply Depot to equip your knight sinister helms and armors crafted from Obsidian. Obsidian Prize Boxes contain items from the perplexing realm of Apocrea.
